Lamps and Lights
The new 125 cards that I have just added to the gallery has the theme of Lamps and Lights. Most of these photographs were taken during our holiday trips when we went to Melbourne (Australia), the Fairmont Chateau at Lake Louise (Canada) and at the Waldorf Astoria (NYC).
I didn’t realize that we had such a fascination for lamp and light images until I went through our photographs and found many of them! That’s why I thought it might be nice to create 125 card images for these under this particular theme. There are a total of 20 new 125 x 125 pixel images for you to choose from, some examples are shown below:
Pic 1: This is a photograph of a street lamp that was taken on the streets of Melbourne, Australia. The season was fall/autumn and on this particular day, the clouds in the sky were in perfect unison - it was a great photo moment.
Pic 2: This is a close up photograph of a free standing lamp that was taken at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Canada.
Pic 3: This is a photograph of a lamp taken in one of the rooms at the Waldorf Astoria, NYC.

Turning a new leaf - over 200 cards!
Wow! Our new free125cards.com site has only been around for less than a month and I’m happy to announce to all our visitors and friends that have been so supportive of us, that we have just added over 200 pre-designed 125 x 125 cards in our gallery! It’s like turning over a new leaf so to speak. To commemorate this small milestone, the theme for the new 125 card images I have just added is a “Leaf Theme“. To check out the new 125 card images just go to the New section of the gallery.
I would also like to thank all those people who have supported us by using the free 125 cards available to represent their blogs/websites, we feel very privileged. There’s certainly some very creative people out there and we have had fun viewing their cards in the Showcase section of the gallery.

Sunset Collection
After roaming around the house trying to locate old photographs that were ’supposedly’ stored in a safe place, we discovered that one of our hard disk drives (where our valued photos were stored) was totally corrupted and no longer working! Fortunately, I remembered I had also saved some images on CD and have found these. I have recently gone through them and I was soooo relieve and happy to find some of the photographs I had been looking for were on the CD!
I don’t know about you, but when I stumble across some old photographs, I get easily distracted and start going through all of them and I then start to reflect back on the things that happened, the places visited, the people that were there, etc… They certainly brought back a lot of memories 
As a result of this discovery, I have been able to release the sunset collection to add to the free125cards gallery. The sunset images were taken during our trip to the Blue Mountains in Sydney, from a family’s home and at beautiful Shoal Bay which is in northern NSW in Port Stephens Australia.

New 125 card designs added
Yesterday and today we have just added 19 new pre-designed 125 cards. The new additions included:
- Images of money in different colours.
- Simple business blank designs with black lower border in a variety of colours.
- Square buttons in different colours.
Keep an eye out as we will continually be adding new 125 card designs to the gallery, so that way you have a lot more to choose from!

Off to a great start!

If you are a regular visitor to our other website, Vividlamp we launched free125card.com on May 19th, 2008. For full details of the launch you can read all about it here.
So far, we have had 2 designers contributing new 125 cards to our gallery. You can view who they are by going to the front page and if you scroll down, there is a section called “Designers/Contributors“. I would like to give my personal thanks to Gina from Weight Watcher Recipes and Haziri from xt3ch for their wonderful design contributions.
Additionally, the number of free pre-designed 125 cards in the gallery has increased from 156 to a total of 186 in just 9 days! We will continue to add new 125 card images on a daily basis and if you are able to help out, we not only appreciate it, but we will also acknowledge your contribution. If you have a website, we will also help to promote it for free
Speaking about promoting your website for free…have you looked at the “Showcase” section on free125cards.com? Check out the people that have been using our free125cards. There are 14 websites showcased so far, but we do know there’s more of them out there. If you would also like to promote your own site, you can do so by showcasing it. When we see people use our free125cards, it gives us a lot of satisfaction knowing that we are able to help you out and it validates that our site/tool is useful.
