The fascination of making money
They say money is the root of all evil. They say money makes the world go round.
Whatever reason or what money means to you, whether your blog aims at making money on-line (or not), it seems that since we started to offer our free service/tool at free125cards.com a lot of our visitors like to use and personalize a 125 x 125 pixel card that have an image of money or dollar signs on it.
As a result, I have created the following new 125 cards to add to our gallery, for all of you to use for free. Here’s the collection below. Tell me which colours or designs you like best so I can keep this in mind for future new designs we create here at free125cards.
Collection 1: Green coloured money designs

Collection 2: Red coloured money designs

Collection 3: Blue coloured money designs

Hope you enjoy creating your new free logos with these new designs…enjoy!
Good-bye Chester…
If you have gone through our gallery, you may have seen this 125 card of Chester, my 16 year old cousin’s horse below:

Unfortunately, a few days ago while I was travelling interstate, I received some bad news. My 16 year old cousin was riding Chester in the horse paddock (as she usually does). This time she didn’t put a saddle on and was riding him bare back (she would do this from time to time and is a pretty good rider). On this day, the sun was just starting to set so it was difficult to see the ground. Unfortunately, Chester got one of his legs caught in this metal object that was on the ground hiding beneath some long, dry grass and in the process threw my cousin off his back (which was lucky, as she didn’t get trampled on). She sustained a few minor bruises, but is doing ok.
They tried to calm Chester down as they called for the vet as they could not get his leg out of this metal object. In the meantime, Chester continued to struggle to get his leg out. However, by the time the vet got there his leg had sustained major injuries (as he tried to wrestle his way out) and a major artery on his leg was lacerated.
Sadly, my family made the difficult decision to have him put down rather than watch him suffer in pain and agony. My cousin is absolutely devastated as he meant a great deal to her, but she was involved in all the decision making process…I think in time she will learn to let him go.
I have added these two additional 125 x 125 pixel cards to the gallery of Chester, to commemorate his memory and how much he meant to my cousin.
Image 1: This is a close up photo of Chester’s profile.

Image 2: Chester eating from his bucket.

Farewell Chester and thanks for the memories…
It’s a dog’s world…
A while back one of our readers had requested some new 125 x 125 cards that had dog images on them. As you may have guessed, I have finally got around to these and the new 125 cards that have been added to the gallery is all about dogs
I’m actually short of animal images, so if you would like to contribute your own images that you would like for us to include into our free gallery, feel free to contact us using our contact form and we will provide you with the instructions. You can also donate any image/s that you feel that our gallery is lacking and we will review them, so that everyone has a variety of cards to choose from to create their own free logo.
Just be aware, if you would like to donate your images, we will acknowledge that the images are from you (that’s why it’s important you provide us with your name and website url when you send us the image/s), but we do need to watermark them so that they display with the same consistency as all the other 125 x 125 card images that’s already in our gallery. Thanks in advance to those of you who do help out.

Olympic Games 2008
This post and the new 125 x 125 pixel cards available in the gallery, is to commemorate the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. I always enjoy watching the olympic games, even sports that I wouldn’t normally watch. I think watching the best athletes in the world compete is absolutely amazing, especially as they break one world record after another! Or when the competition is extremely close, it just keeps you on the edge of your seat!

Of course, I’m supporting the Aussies and get very proud even if we just get a bronze medal. I particularly like it even more, when I hear a story of how a particular athlete has overcome adversity to get into the olympic games and to come out and win a medal! It’s truly inspiring…

Lastly, I just want to say a big THANKS to our first benefactor from Greece, who has kindly donated a small amount of money to help us continue to provide this free service. This small donation means a lot to us, not because it’s the first one we have ever received to this day, but because it’s really satisfying to know that someone out there has been so generous and wants to see us continue to offer this free service. This has indeed given us a boost to work hard and focus on growing free125cards.com.

Cheers,
Marie
Search by colour or tags
Just a little reminder to all our visitors using the free125cards gallery, that we have actually moved the ability to search by: colour or tag descriptions to the top section of each page.

In this way, it will be more visible for all our users in case they want to search for a particular 125 x 125 pixel card by: colour or tag description. Otherwise, if these options do not suit you, there is still the ability to also select your 125 card from the gallery pages. We have also ensured the following:
1. Home - The “Home” tab when selected will display 125 x 125 pixel card images randomly. When you go through the next or previous pages from this screen it will continue to display random 125 card images as each page loads.
2. Popular - The “Popular” tab when selected will display 125 x 125 pixel card images that have been clicked on the most by other people. As a suggestion, if you wish to use a more unique 125 x 125 card for a logo, do not select or personalize card from this list as a lot of other people may be using it to promote their blog/website. There are over 300 cards to choose from in our gallery, so find one that is unique for you. Additionally, we are constantly adding new 125 x 125 pixel card images to our gallery, so be sure to come back and check out what has been added by going into the “New” tab.
3. New - The “New” tab when selected will display 125 x 125 pixel card images that have been recently added to the gallery. When you go through the next or previous pages from this screen it will show you all the cards that have in the gallery in the order they have been added. Therefore, if you really want to see ALL 125 x 125 pixel images in the gallery, this is the tab that you need to use.
4. Colour Search - By selecting one of the colour palletes, it will take you to a page that will show you a list of 125 card images that have been tagged with that particular colour. When you go through the next or previous pages from this screen it will continue to display random 125 card images as each page loads.
5. Tag Search - By selecting one of the tag description, it will take you to a page that will show you a list of 125 card images that have had that particular description tagged against that specific card image. When you go through the next or previous pages from this screen it will continue to display random 125 card images as each page loads.
Here’s hoping the different searches you have available will allow you to find that 125 x 125 pixel card you are looking for so you can give it your personal touch to help you create a really nice logo for your website/blog.
